Celebrating our tenth anniversary, Castlebar Gospel Choir
brought their 'Songs of Freedom' concert
to the John Field Room at the National Concert Hall in Dublin
on Thursday, October 1st, 2009.
It was an evening celebrating the spirit of freedom that has
evolved in the USA
tracing the movement from slavery to civil rights to the inauguration of President
Barack Obama.
Under the direction of Kathy Fahey, accompanied by John Flatley,
this was the choir's first time performing in Dublin and was a wonderful night
of music!
