We sang a selection of songs with a Christmas theme to a full
house at the Linenhall

We also sang three songs at a function at Balla for Western Care on the 10th
November
We sang our Songs of Freedom concert at Áras
Inis Gluaire, Belmullet
on Nov. 13th, and had a nice social evening afterwards.

Celebrating their ten year anniversary, Castlebar Gospel Choir brought their 'Songs of Freedom' concert to the National Concert Hall in Dublin on Thursday, October the 1st at 8pm. It was an evening celebrating the spirit of freedom that has evolved in the USA tracing the movement from slavery to civil rights to the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Under the direction of Kathy Fahey, accompanied by John Flatley, this was the choir's first time performing in Dublin and was a wonderful night of music! Click here to see more

19 of the choir made it for a memorable stay
in Germany,
where we sang with the Gospel Voices at their annual open-air concert at Baiersdorf
